We use zero advertising cookies, zero tracking pixels, and zero third-party analytics cookies. We use only strictly necessary browser localStorage and sessionStorage — not cookies — for theme preference and loading state.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies can be used for many purposes — from keeping you logged in to tracking your behaviour across the internet for advertising. THRIVEFINITY (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED uses only what is strictly necessary.
What we use instead of cookies
ThriveFinity uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage — not cookies — for two strictly necessary purposes:
- Theme preference (
localStorage, keytf-theme):
Stores your light/dark mode preference so you don’t have to re-select it each visit. This data never leaves your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. - Preloader skip (
sessionStorage, keytf_visited):
Stores a flag during your browser session to skip the loading animation on return visits. This is cleared automatically when you close your browser tab.
These are not cookies in the regulatory sense and do not require consent under UK PECR, the EU ePrivacy Directive, or India’s DPDPA 2023, as they are strictly necessary and do not involve any personal data leaving your device.
Third-party resources
Self-hosted fonts: All typefaces used on this website (Playfair Display, Montserrat, JetBrains Mono) are self-hosted as .woff2 files on our own Vercel infrastructure. No font files are loaded from Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, or any external CDN. No DNS request, no server log, no data transfer occurs to a third party for fonts.
Stripe (payment pages only): When you proceed to payment, Stripe, Inc. sets its own session cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing. These cookies are governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy and are strictly necessary for completing your transaction. No Stripe cookie is set on non-payment pages.
No advertising or tracking cookies
ThriveFinity does not use:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any Google tracking
- Facebook Pixel or any Meta tracking
- LinkedIn Insight Tag or any LinkedIn tracking
- Any retargeting or behavioural advertising technology
- Any session recording tools (e.g. Hotjar, FullStory, Microsoft Clarity)
- Any third-party chat widgets that set tracking cookies
- Google Fonts CDN or any external font delivery network
How to manage your preferences
Because we use only localStorage and sessionStorage, standard cookie management tools do not apply. To clear your stored preferences:
- Chrome: Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage → right-click → Clear.
- Firefox: Developer Tools → Storage → Local Storage → delete entries.
- Safari: Settings → Advanced → Website Data → search for thrivefinity → Remove.
Clearing this data will reset your theme to system default and re-show the loading animation on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
If ThriveFinity ever introduces cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this policy, add a cookie consent banner compliant with UK PECR and/or DPDPA 2023, and notify active clients. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent change.
